Here you find information about my musical Curriculum Vitae, how after moving several times I finally and happily got this job with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.

Teachers:	since 1979:	private bassoon lessons with Joachim Müller in Heidesheim
	since 1982	lessons with Günther Schuldt at the Peter-Cornelius-Conservatory in Mainz
	1987-1988	with Bernd Kühnel, principal bassoonist with the Orchestra of Münster/Westf.
	1988-1993:	Studies with Prof. Klaus Thunemann at the "Hochschule für Musik und Theater" in Hannover, Diploma in November 1993
	1993-1995:	Scholarship for the Orchestra-Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Lessons with the principal bassoonist Stefan Schweigert

Chambermusic / Orchestra:	since 1985	As Member of the Gutenberg-Ensemble Concerts in various chamber music formations with strings, winds and piano
	1986 and 1987:	Rheinland-Pfalz Youth Orchestra, Price in the "Jugend musiziert" contest.
	1989 and 1990:	playing contrabassoon with the "Junge Deutsche Philharmonie"
	January until March 1991:	"Extra" for 2nd bassoon with the "Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden"
	1990-1993	Member of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO), concerts playing principal, second and contra-bassoon with famous conductors. "Extra" with the "Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie" Bremen.
	1993	"Extra" for principal bassoon with the Radio-Philharmonie of the NDR Hannover.
	1993-1995	"Extra" with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
	September 1995 until February 1996	Co-principal bassoonist with the Philharmonic Orchestra Kiel.
	April 1996 until August 1997	Co-principal bassoonist with the "Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz" (lake Constance)
	since 2006	Member of the Scharoun Ensemble Berlin with many concerts in Germany and abroad in various chamber music formations with strings, winds and piano. The main formation is that of the Schubert Octet: 2 violins, viola, violoncello, double bass, clarinet, horn and bassoon.

current activity:	since September 1997	2nd bassoon and contrabassoon with the Berlin Philharmonic.
