(Flyer titel image)Gutenberg Ensemble

Chamber music in various combinations with winds and strings.

Introduction ...

The concept which brought the Gutenberg Ensemble together was that of forming a professional chamber music ensemble using the greatest possible variety of instrumental combinations and repertoire.

The musicians have been inspired and influenced in their playing, having met Jean Françaix, the Amadeus Quartet and the Alban Berg Quartet.

In their concerts in Germany and abroad (e.g. Switzerland, Russia and Israel), they draw their repertoire from the vast treasures of chamber music works from all epochs.

Every time the Gutenberg Ensemble has performed on radio or television, for example SWF (South West German Radio and Television) and ZDF (Second German Television), the critics have enthused about the high standard of playing and the joyful energy of the group.
